What We Believe
About God.
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, perfect in love, holiness, and justice.
About Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully human for our salvation. He lived without sin, was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day and ascended into heaven. Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead.
About the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Giver of life who draws people to Christ, transforms believers, and empowers the Church to live out the gospel.
About Scripture.
We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments faithfully reveal God’s truth and guide the life, faith, and practice of the Church.
About Salvation.
We believe that salvation is a gift of God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through faith, repentance, and the grace of God, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and given new life.
About the Church.
We believe in one holy, universal Church made up of all who belong to Christ. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and practice love toward God and neighbor.
About Human Purpose.
We believe that every person is created in the image of God with dignity and worth. Humanity is called to love God, follow Christ, and live in holiness, compassion, and truth.
About Christian Life.
We believe that believers grow in faith through prayer, Scripture, fellowship, and participation in the life of the Church. Christians are called to live by the Spirit and reflect Christ in all things.
About the Resurrection and Eternal Life.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Those who belong to Christ will dwell with God forever.
About Christian Men.
We believe that Christian men are called to reflect the character of Christ in their lives. True masculinity is expressed through humility, courage, self-sacrifice, purity, integrity, and the faithful protection of those entrusted to our care. Men are called to lead through service, to cultivate spiritual maturity, to honor women, and to strengthen their families, churches, and communities through Christ-like love.
